In preparation for the Battle City Tournament, Yugi developed a new strategy using Magnet Warriors – monsters that could combine to form one huge monster whose power could rival even Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Structure Deck Yugi Muto refits the Magnet Warriors into new Electromagnet Warriors that attract each other from the hand, Deck, and Graveyard, and combine into the mighty Beserkion the Electromagna Warrior! Duelists can play these new cards on their own, but if they use them with other cards that support Electromagnet Warriors, they can unleash the full power of this formidable combination.

The Electromagnet Warrior strategy revolves around summoning and linking the various Electromagnet Warrior monsters to form the powerful Beserkion. Electromagnet Warrior Alpha, Beta, and Gamma can all be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, hand, or Deck when other Electromagnet Warriors are on the field, allowing the player to quickly amass the required monsters to Xyz Summon Beserkion.

Beserkion the Electromagna Warrior is a Rank 3 Xyz Monster that gains 500 ATK for each Electromagnet Warrior monster in the Graveyard. This means that with the right setup, Beserkion can become a towering behemoth with over 4000 ATK, easily capable of defeating even the mightiest of opponents' monsters. Additionally, Beserkion can detach an Xyz Material to destroy one card on the field, providing the player with valuable field control.

To support the Electromagnet Warrior strategy, the Structure Deck includes various cards that search for, protect, and enable the Electromagnet Warriors. Cards like Magnet Conversion and Electromagnet Retrieval allow the player to recycle their Electromagnet Warriors from the Graveyard, ensuring a steady stream of monsters to fuel Beserkion's power. Electromagnet Barrier and Electromagnet Draw provide defensive and draw power, respectively, to keep the player's resources flowing.
